What are daily UI challenges?
Daily UI Challenges were created to help developers improve their development and design skills. There are 100 challenges and one is sent to you daily, from Monday to Friday, via email. Below I describe what the challenge was, how I interpreted the challenge and why I chose to design it the way I did. The challenge stated:
"Create a sign up page, modal, form, or app screen related to signing up for something. It could be for a volunteer event, contest registration, a giveaway, or anything you can imagine."
I decided to create a sign up form for a newsletter where the user is required to enter their name, surname and email address. I added a megaphone image to associate the form with anouncements, since a newsletter is usually sent out to inform users of something. I also added some basic form validation to the sign up form that validates the form which targets the :valid and :invalid pseudo classes and applies the bootstrap :valid and :invalid styling.
